Sun Peaks Resort

Get Real. Gnarly. With 595 metres (1,954 feet) of chairlift accessed vertical, 36 distinct trails that range from technical DH and flowing machine-made, to scenic alpine XC trails and expansive all mountain, the Sun Peaks Bike Park has something for everyone.

Our Park continues to evolve much like the bikes and riders that visit each summer. New for 2012, the Big Rock Ride accesses the summit of Sundance Mountain and our entire cross country network, even invading Mt. Morrisey. Plus, soak up the views from the Altitude Trail that takes riders up in the high alpine to the "Top of the World", then enjoy the 825 metre descent back to the village below.

Our wildly successful Freeride Camps return for summer 2012, coached by some of BC's top riders. Campers are immersed in all aspects of freeriding to learn the skills and confidence to tackle single track, berms, jumps, steeps, and whatever else the mountain might throw their way! Protective gear (leg pads, arms pads, and body suits) is highly recommended, but not mandatory

Rentals and Service

Elevation Bike, Ski & Board, located in the Delta Sun Peaks, offers a full service bike shop and rentals, featuring Rocky Mountain, Commencal and Scott bikes.

Accommodation and other services

Sun Peaks is a four season destination resort with a ride-thru village including seven hotels plus hundreds of condos, town homes, and chalets. In the summer, the village offers 15 restaurants, pubs, and cafes to choose from offering a wide range of dining options from tasty pizza to fine dining. Locally owned shops line the village walkways. At the end of the riding day, cool off at nearby Heffley Lake or jump into the outdoor pool at the Sports Centre. Our 18-hole Graham Cooke designed golf course also boasts the highest elevation of any track in BC.
