Try something new this summer, load up and head out to explore Panorama Bike Park.
Tucked away in the Purcell Mountains about 3.5 hours from Calgary, Panorama Bike Park has a reputation for steep, rocky and rooty trails built into the natural environment. Because of the secluded mountain location you'll spend a lot less time in lift line-ups and a lot more time riding. You're likely to be relaxing in the T-bar or the slope-side swimming pools long before you have explored all of the bike trails.
Fun features and technical trails - Panorama Bike Park has machine groomed trails with jumps and fun berms, fast technical runs like Insanity - a Canadian DH Championship track, and flowy singletrack snaking through mountain forest.
Kootenays vibe - There isn't a fast-food chain or convenience store in sight. Just Rockies views and an atmosphere which is laid-back and friendly, as you'd expect in the Kootenays. The village has comfortable condo, hotel and townhouse accommodation, all located less than a couple of minutes ride from the lift. At the end of the day cool off in the slope-side swimming pools or take a run down one of the waterslides.
Great value accommodation and biking - Panorama's new ownership group is focused on providing value and this includes bike and bed packages. You can stay and ride at Panorama from just $67.00* per person per day and still be right in the heart of the village.
Check out the 'Let it Ride' package, named after the 'Let it Ride' trail, it's a great-value deal. The trail is ideal for learning to rail berms, taking on some easy wooden features and getting the feel for a downhill rig.
Bike Skills Park - This newly developed play area in the bike park is the perfect place for kids and beginners to practice and play. With small jumps and rolls as well as wooden features, this park is built for fun! Located right in the centre of the village, you can access this area anytime throughout the day - no lift access is required.
