The Vancouver-Whistler drive takes about 2 hours, depending on road and traffic conditions. The aptly-named Sea-to-Sky Highway is the main road that connects Whistler with Vancouver and the Lower Mainland. As the name suggests, the drive takes you from the rugged shores of Howe Sound right up to the snowcapped peaks of Whistler Blackcomb.
Whistler is about a 4 to 5-hour drive from Seattle. The trip to from Seattle to Vancouver takes about 3 hours.
Sun Peaks Resort is the closest resort in the interior of British Columbia from the Lower Mainland. The best and easiest driving route to Sun Peaks Resort is via Highway 5 North, exiting at Tod Mountain Road by Heffley Creek, BC. Some GPS providers and Google Maps suggest an alternative dirt back road route off of Highway 1 near Pritchard, BC, and Chase, BC. This road is suitable for summer traffic only.

Fernie is located in the south-east corner of the B.C. Rockies on Highway No.3 approximately 60 km (40 miles) from the Alberta and U.S. borders. Fernie Alpine Resort is 5 km (3 miles) from the City of Fernie and only 1.5 km up the hill from the highway intersection.
Silver Star Mountain Resort is located just 22km's from Vernon at the north end of BC's beautiful Okanagan Valley.
From Vancouver you have a few choices in getting to Silver Star. The two main routes take approximately 5 hours. First you travel along HWY 1 East to Hope where you can take the Coquihalla to Merritt and then 97 C "the Connector" east to highway 97 and eventually to Kelowna. From Kelowna travel north to Vernon on highway 97 and turn right on Silver Star Rd. (48th Ave) taking you to your final destination OR stay on the Coquihalla and travel north to Kamloops, get on HWY 1 east and watch for signs for Vernon, take highway 97 south to Vernon, and turn left at Silver Star Rd. (48th Ave).
If you are traveling from Calgary via HWY 1 West take HWY 97 south at Sicamous and this will lead you to Vernon and the Okanagan Valley.
Silver Star is also only an hour's drive from the Kelowna Airport where there is frequent shuttle service to the Resort.
Panorama Mountain Village is located only 2 hours southwest of Banff in the spectacular BC Rockies. Turn south off Trans Canada #1 onto Highway 93 to Radium Hot Springs. Travel south on Highway 93/95 to Invermere (14km). Panorama is well marked 18 km west of Invermere. Calgary International Airport (3.5 hrs drive - 292 km/181 miles) is the principal gateway serving all major carriers and ground transportation options.
