Silver Star Mountain Resort (www.skisilverstar.com) The mountain terrain here is world class and will definitely keep you satisfied. Silver Star Bike Park uses the Comet Express chairlift (4 bike carrier so you hardly wait in line) to access a variety of progressive trails that offer a different degree of difficulty for everyone. Silver Star also has abundant machine made and natural terrain that will entertain even the best of mountain bikers. Some of our new jump trails like Pipe Dream and Rock Star have developed reputations as some of the most progressive and fun bike trails around.
This summer Silver Star is open TWO bonus weekends in September (Sept 11-12 and 18-19) and once again every Wednesday night is extended play with the lifts turning until 7:30pm.

NEW this season:
- Norco bikes in the rental shop. Norco has jumped onboard with Silver Star this summer and there are some great bikes to rent like the new 2010 A-Line
- New blue trail that will take you from Hub 1 at the top of the hill back to village. It will be a handmade fun windy single track trail cross mountain to the village.
- New blue braid on Challenger trail designed to help people learn to pump their bike over rollers and keep up their momentum.
- Some rerouting and maintenance on upper Super Star to smooth out a few berms and turns
- New repair shop on the mountain. Double Diamond Repair Shop will be open this summer to service all your bike needs and repairs. Check them out next to the rental shop.

Accommodation and other services
Silver Star's village is a great place to relax and there is a wide variety of accommodation choices available on the mountain - from a youth hostel, to full service hotels, condos and vacation homes.. Accommodation facilities are bike friendly and will help you find secure storage for your bike when not in use.
There are several restaurants and pubs open during the summer months and The Saloon and Bulldog Cafe are open into the evening. If you need a little help with your bike, Double Diamond Service Shop will be able to handle any repairs. Be sure to stop in and see their full shop on Silver Star Rd next to Bike Rentals.
